Your First Week

Five days to go from "just signed up" to "can't live without it." Each day builds on the last. Let's walk through it together.

Day 1

Create your first capture

Think about the last meeting, call, or conversation you had. It doesn't need to be today — even yesterday's call works. Write down what happened like you'd tell a colleague.

Day 2

Watch connections grow

After 2-3 captures, your Connections page starts to fill in. People, companies, and projects appear automatically — you never need to create them by hand.

Day 4

Capture without typing

You don't always have time to type. rivo gives you two hands-free options: email forwarding and voice capture.

Forward an email

Every rivo account has a unique capture email address. Forward any email to it, and rivo processes it as a capture.

Use voice capture

Tap the mic and talk. rivo transcribes and extracts in one step.

"Tom called about the renovation. The permit got expedited but it cost an extra five hundred dollars. He wants to start demo next Monday."
Day 5

Ask rivo anything

By now you have a few days of captures. Ask rivo questions about your connections, projects, and history — it draws from everything you've captured.

Ask rivo
What's the latest on the Office Renovation?
Based on your recent captures, here's where the Office Renovation stands:

Budget: $75,000 (Tom Hendricks quote)
Permit: Expedited for $500, confirmed
Timeline: Demo starting next Monday
Open task: Get permit application from Maria Santos (2 days overdue)

You may want to follow up with Maria on that permit.
Brief me on Jennifer Westbrook
Jennifer Westbrook is the CEO of Westbrook Industries. Here's your relationship summary:

Sentiment: Positive and improving. She was excited at the kickoff and enthusiastic about the e-commerce add-on.
Active project: Website Redesign ($45k budget, 8 weeks)
Last interaction: 3 days ago — budget review
Open task: Send design mockups (due Friday)

Overall a strong relationship. She's engaged and responsive.

You've got the rhythm

Capture after every interaction. Check your Inbox each morning. Ask rivo when you need a refresher. That's it — your knowledge base builds itself.
